This is a great video on so many levels. The girl’s reaction itself is just priceless, but there is just so much more. Here, take a look for yourself:
We can see how excited the girl is to be taking pictures of the car, and that’s great. What also really stood out to me was before the big reveal, how the girl acted around the car. First is the state of wonder and amazement she has when looking at the car. It’s great to see young gearheads and jalops excited about seeing classic cars. Especially ones they love.
The second is that right off the bat, she even warns her father not to touch the car. Of course it’s their own car so he has every right, but she didn’t know it. It’s great to know that there are still people out there raising their children to properly respect other people’s property and cars. As some one who has had people randomly jump into my own car, seeing this girl’s respectful attitude restores a little bit of my faith in people. My hat is off to you, and I wish you all many miles of great motoring.

I like how they kept the surprise going and allowed her to have a genuine reaction. Just a gentle push “how did he have the keys”, and let her figure the rest out.

in their defense, were I attempting to take a subtle video I may hold my phone vertical, as horizontal gives away to my kids that I’m shooting video every time.
